At the end of February, STU-Bratislava allowed us to import a wastewater treatment unit within the framework of good relations of the project, which, although not manufactured for our specific project, but for their own project, thanks to it, the operational and technical shortcomings in the operation of the wastewater treatment will be tested. It is installed in the premises of OVAKU (ÚČOV Ostrava) and will be there to treat wastewater for 3 months. The samples will be monitored and their results evaluated. The treatment unit has membrane technology and activated carbon in it, i.e. it is composed of dual technology for wastewater treatment. The staff of VŠB-TUO together with OVAKU staff and technologists from STU Bratislava will define the input requirements and parameters for the developed device including operating and technological conditions. All the facts found during the trial operation will help us to eliminate unexpected pitfalls in the development of our semi-operational unit.
